I am an IT professional maintaining a variety of Apple and Windows desktops. I have always been interested in the automation of support tasks to ease administration. I worked as an assistant (furniture mover, window cleaner, photographer etc.) in an antiques/auction shop years back. The shop held auctions on a monthly basis. My employer had 30 plus years of experience along with hundreds of books on antiques. While I worked there I came to appreciate the craftsmanship, complexity, and beauty of antiques.
